GFAB participation terms

Version: 2026.1-terms · Effective: 26 October 2026

These terms apply when you register for and take the Global Financial Adviser Benchmark ("GFAB"). GFAB is operated by ProsperityLab Technology Ltd, a private company registered in the Dubai International Financial Centre (commercial licence CL12992), Office IH-00-01-01-OF-01, Level 1, Innovation One, Dubai International Financial Centre, Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("ProsperityLab", "we", "us").

By creating an account you accept these terms. Please also read the privacy notice and the assessment data processing notice.

1. What GFAB is

GFAB is a benchmark of professional judgment for financial advisers. You respond to realistic client situations and receive a private report that describes how your responses compare with GFAB's reference responses.

GFAB is not an examination, certification, licence or qualification. Your report does not establish competence, fitness to advise, regulatory standing or a ranking against other advisers, and must not be presented as any of these.

GFAB 2026 is the founding edition. Its questions, reference responses and scoring framework have been approved internally by GFAB's experts. Independent validation is planned for the next annual edition. Reports from this edition do not include percentiles or comparisons with other advisers.

2. Who can take part

GFAB is intended for practising financial advisers and planners. You must be at least 18 years old and register with an email address you control. You may hold only one account, and the information you give about your role and practice must be accurate. Credentials you enter are self-reported and are not verified.

You may be invited to take part by a firm or institution that has an arrangement with us. Section 8 explains what that institution can see.

Participation in GFAB 2026 is free of charge.

3. Your account

You sign in with a single-use code sent to your email address. Keep access to that mailbox secure; anyone who can read it can sign in as you. Tell us at support@prosperitylab.ai if you think your account has been misused.

You can correct your name and practice details in your profile at any time. Your email address cannot be changed by yourself; contact us if it needs to change.

4. Taking the assessment

  • Each edition allows one attempt per participant.
  • Once you start, you have 48 hours to finish, or until the edition closes if that is sooner. Plan for about two hours of focused time. Your answers are saved as you go, and you can leave and return within the 48 hours.
  • If the time runs out before you submit, the attempt closes and no result is issued. A new attempt is not available in the same edition.
  • GFAB gives no feedback on individual questions during or after the assessment.
  • Submission is final. Answers cannot be changed after you submit.

GFAB 2026 opens on 26 October 2026 and closes at the end of 31 December 2026, Dubai time. We may close registration earlier than the assessment window.

5. Your own judgment and the confidentiality of the questions

The value of GFAB depends on every participant answering independently. You agree that you will:

  • answer yourself, without help from another person and without using automated tools, AI systems or reference material to choose your answers;
  • not copy, photograph, record, publish, share or sell any question, answer option or other assessment content, during or after the assessment;
  • not attempt to discover the reference responses or scoring rules, interfere with the service, or access another person's account.

The questions, answer options, reference responses, scoring rules and response mappings are confidential and remain our property.

6. Results and reports

When you submit, your attempt is scored automatically. A result that passes our standard checks is released to you straight away, and your private report is prepared, normally within minutes.

We may hold a result for review where there are signs that the attempt was not completed independently or that something went wrong technically. After review we may release the result, withhold it, or invalidate the attempt. If we invalidate your result we will tell you why in general terms, and you may ask us to reconsider within 14 days by writing to support@prosperitylab.ai. We will review your request and tell you the outcome.

Your report is private to you. You choose whether to include the professional context panel (role, experience, credentials, specialty, practice type and client segment) when you start. It never affects your score.

You may use your report for your own professional development and share it as you wish, provided you do not alter it or describe it as a certification, qualification, ranking or endorsement.

7. Public completion record and directory profile (optional)

After a released result you can choose to create a public completion record. It is anonymous unless you separately allow your name to appear. You can also choose to publish a directory profile. Both are optional, are described in the public name and profile notice, and can be withdrawn at any time.

8. If an institution invited you

If a firm or institution invited you, it can see your name, the email address it invited, and the progress of your invitation: when you accepted it, whether you have registered and completed the assessment, and whether you withdrew. It cannot see your answers, scores or report.

Your result is included in the institution's group report only if you choose to allow it in your privacy settings, and only in group totals that never identify you. See the institution group report notice.

9. Our content

GFAB, its content and software belong to ProsperityLab or its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the service and your report as described in these terms. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of GFAB content to you.

10. Suspension and closing accounts

We may suspend or close an account, or invalidate an attempt, if these terms are breached, if there is a security risk, or if required by law. You can ask us to delete your account at any time from your privacy settings; see the privacy notice for what we keep.

11. Changes to GFAB and these terms

We may update the service and these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you and ask you to review the new version before you continue. The terms that applied when you took an attempt continue to apply to that attempt.

12. Responsibility

GFAB is provided for professional development and information. It is not financial, legal or career advice, and decisions you or others make based on a report are your and their responsibility.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from reliance on a report for purposes other than those described in these terms. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Dubai International Financial Centre, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the DIFC Courts.
